Thank you for sending on Jane’s report card. We were delighted with her progress.
Can I just say that we are so impressed with Jane’s experience in France organised with Living language. Your company did such a great job in preparing the students before they went and the support from Laetitia over in France was superb.
Please pass on our thanks to Jean Marc and all the team. Jane enjoyed every minute of her trip and has made wonderful friends with her two French families, who were extremely kind and welcoming to her. We know it is the start of a lifelong romance with all things French!
Kind regards
Dear Gilles,
A short note to express my gratitude & thanks for taking such good care of Sean during his time in France. He spoke very highly of you, his host family & the program.
Hi Mary-Clare,
Thank you for sending me Anna's report. It is absolutely amazing.
I am delighted with everything Living Language has done for Anna.
I would not hesitate to recommend your language school to anyone.
Special Thank You to Marika who was so kind, warm, thoughtful and caring and to the host family who taught Anna so many things and were so generous. Anna returned a new improved version of herself thanks to them. She got really attached to the parents and daughters and already misses them.
Wishing you and Jean-Marc and family a wonderful Christmas and best wishes for the New Year.
Kind regards,
Dear Marika, Jean-Marc & Louise,
Thank you so much for the wonderful learning experience Living Language has given to Cara. She has improved her French so much and has had a wonderful cultural experience too. Thank you Marika for the weekly tuition which was also very helpful to her and setting her up with all the lovely French families including your own and Louise’s.
She has totally fallen in love with France and the French way of life and has found it very hard to leave.
We will stay in touch with a view to continuing in some capacity.
Merci beaucoup pour tout.
The whole experience was seamless from start to finish, and everyone that Cory encountered on the way, was extremely nice. Marika on the ground in France really was amazingly supportive, and showed real concern in chasing Cory for his work. We are most appreciative. Cory was also extremely fortunate with the lovely family that was selected for him. The host family were so so kind to him. They really took such great care of him, and went out of their way to take him to Paris, and Versailles. They were truly so so kind.
Thank you most sincerely for giving Cory such a positive experience in France. We are delighted also that his French has improved considerably!
many thanks again - we look forward to being back with Living Languages again in the future. In the meantime, we will be sure to promote your service to our friends.
Best regards
Hi Marika - I wanted to send you a message to say thank you for all your attention to Tess while she was in France - both Ronan and I were always reassured by your kindness and it certainly helped Tess to adjust and settle in and of course to improve her French !! With kind regards
Dear Mary-Clare
Let me say however that you as a company have been fabulous throughout and I am delighted that she will have at least gained two months of exposure to French life and language. I thank you for this.
I would also like to make special mention of the host family who have hosted her, and of Sophie and the school. The family has been wonderful hosts and it was a pleasure to have met them this weekend. They could have done nothing more to make Rebecca happy and welcome, and I hope that we shall stay friends with them for always. Sophie has also been so good to Rebecca and has always kept us up to date with her progress.
I wish Living Languages every success going forward, and I pass on my sincere best wishes to you and Jean-Marc.
Thank you Marika for the update. That is very good to hear on Evelyn's progress. Thank you very much for all your support to Evelyn over the last five weeks. She had an excellent experience.
They will be very tired after that early start on Sunday! Talk to you soon. Best regards
Hi Marika
thank you for staying in touch with Harry and for all your work with him. I'm very pleased with the way it worked out because he seems to be happy over there. I hope you have not been too busy over the time and that you'll all have a safe flight back. Enjoy the Christmas break. Best wishes
Dear Mary-Clare and Jean Marc
I just wanted to thank you both for all the support shown to Cory, and to us his parents in the run up to, and during his stay in France. Cory had a really positive experience. As did we. We really thought that the professionalism shown by your organisation was excellent. The BenAchrak family were so so kind to him.
Mary-Clare,
Thank you so much for sending on Sophia’s report. She had such a great time in France. The balance of the boarding residence and the time with the very welcoming Bardinet family worked perfectly!
Thank you to you, Jean-Marc, Marika and all your team for making it such a positive ex-perience for her. She’s grown on so many levels - her French language competency, her confidence, her life skills - such a worthwhile 6 weeks. I’ll be recommending it to so many people. Thank you all
Hello Mary-Clare
I just want to let you and Jean-Marc know that Art had a fantastic experience on his TY stay in France. The family was lovely and went to great lengths to make Art feel at home and to introduce him to French culture. The lycée was, as he expected, challenging in the first week because of his lack of spoken French, but he soon settled in and began to enjoy it as his understanding improved; he also said the students were friendly and helpful and there was generally a good atmosphere. Marika, your local school contact, was also very helpful to Art and I appreciated her updates after their weekly meetings.
Ah Bonjour Marika
Je m’excuse.
D’abord, je voudrais écrire en français mais mon français est seulement le français scolaire et ‘très rouillé’! Cependant, j'ai tout compris dans ton email - c'est au moins bon! Je vais travailler mon français avant notre rencontre!
Apologies, I only picked up your voice message last night and intended contacting you myself today. So sorry I missed your call on Friday. Actually, Kieran and I listened to your voice mail together as I drove him home from the gym last night. You should have seen the smile on his face listening to your voice and message.
I am glad the little gift of appreciation finally reached you. It was a ‘family effort’ to get it to you in the end. Kieran’s brother, Conor (a former student of Jean Marc’s) delivered it to Pembroke Road when he was in Dublin recently for an exam. And, as I said in the card, this particular book was Kieran’s idea as he said you had admired the scenery in the postcards and we ourselves have this book.
Thank you too for the lovely compliments regarding Kieran. I have to admit he has a lovely personality – he is very comfortable ‘in his own skin’ which allows him interact well with people and he has a huge heart; always so thoughtful and considerate of others. His older siblings, however, told me recently that Kieran is being allowed to do a lot of things that they were not allowed do at his age. Perhaps it comes with being the third and last child!!
Mary-Clare told me that you had been in Ireland. So glad you enjoyed The Ring of Kerry. We, as a family, were there at the end of August for a family wedding and we too had to admit that it is truly a beautiful part of our country. We have vowed to return there soon. You definitely are selecting the nice spots, if you were in Connemara too last year. These areas of Ireland are so scenic; unspoilt and natural.
Please do indeed let us know when you are coming to Ireland again. We would love to meet you. The kettle will be ‘on the boil’ for you!!
Until then, take good care of yourself.
With kindest regards and sincere thanks
Kieran's parents
Dear Gilles,
A short note to express my gratitude & thanks for taking such good care of Sean during his time in France. He spoke very highly of you, his host family & the program.
Best wishes,
Hi Mary Clare and Gilles,
I just want to say a big Thank you for looking after Abbie so well during her 5 weeks in France.
Although she found the first week difficult she enjoyed the experience immensely, the family were so kind and lovely to her, and Gilles
she enjoyed you so much, plus she made some lovely friends.
I can highly recommend Living Languages from start to finish, so professional
Bonjour Gilles,
Merci beaucoup!!!!
Louis arrived home safely last night. We are so grateful to you for taking such good care of our boy! He told us how kind you were to him and this really helped to make his trip to France with Living Language so positive. He loved the Pain au chocolates!! You were so good to wait with him at the station yesterday and how you made sure that he made it on to the train. Merci 🥰
Also we really appreciate all of the work that you did with him on his French. This has been a wonderful experience that he will never forget.
Cher Gilles,
Cordialement.
Tristan et Armelle.
Just a short note to say Thank you for Aoibhins trip to France. She really enjoyed her 5 weeks. In particular the two families Aoibhín stayed with were kind friendly and made huge efforts to show her the best of France. Her school was fantastic and her local contact Laetitia was most helpful. She is happy to be home but a bit sad to be finished her French trip.
Many thanks
Dear Marika, Thank you for all your updates on Felix and all the help you have given him. He was thrived under your tutelage. Merry Christmas and we look forward to working with you again with Sophia in a couple of years.
Hi Gilles,
Thank you for the update. Yes, she feels as if she understands almost everything that's being said in class, until she becomes fatigued and then she's not able after that.
Everything else, as you mentioned, she will need to work on.
Thank you again for looking after her, she really has had a wonderful experience.
Also, if you are speaking with Leonie and the rest of the family, please convey my thanks to them, for having looked after her so well, they were kind to her and spoiled her in a good way.
They helped her with her French, toured the country with her, showed her so many lovely places, introduced her to all their friends and neighbours and even the local shop keepers.
She went at a time where she was lucky enough to attend lots of soirées and dinners with extended family members and friends, she really did get a wonderful immersion into French life. I often wanted to swap places with her 🙂
I'm not forgetting the school, she spoke about how good some of the girls were to her, they never spoke English with her, encouraged her French speaking and made her feel very welcome. The boys weren't a bit shy and made themselves known to her within a few days, which she appreciated. She particularly loved the sports that they did in school.
Until April then, have a lovely Christmas and a prosperous new year.
Thank you so much for facilitating staying with family as she wants to give a big push on to learn as much as possible during her final days.
Many happy returns Marika and thanks for your supporting.
